A bookmark app with no account

Linked saves links from any Android app without an account or sign-up. Your links, collections, tags and notes stay on your phone, protected by an optional PIN.

Updated September 2026

Why skip the account

A list of saved links says a lot: what you read, what you plan to buy, where you want to travel. An account puts that list on someone else's server. Without one, there is nothing to sign up for, no password to forget, and no stored copy that could leak.

How saving works

In your browser, WhatsApp, YouTube or any other app, tap Share and choose Linked. Pick a collection, add tags or a note if you like, and it's saved.

To show a title and picture, Linked sends the address you're saving to a link preview service. That is the only thing sent. Your other links, notes and collections never leave the phone.

Staying organised

  • Collections with their own colour and icon, such as Recipes or Travel.
  • Tags and notes that make links easy to find later.
  • Unread markers and open counts, so you can see what you never got back to.
  • Search and sort by newest, unread, most opened or A to Z.

The trade-off

No account means no automatic sync between devices. To move to a new phone, export a backup file from the Security tab and import it on the new one.
