Privacy policy

Last updated 18 September 2026. Applies to the Linked Android app (com.satheesh.linkvault) and this website.

In short: Linked does not collect, upload or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone, and only you can see it.

1. Information you enter

To work, the app stores what you save, including:

All of it is saved in the app's local storage on your device. It is never sent to the developer, a server, a cloud service or any third party.

2. Link previews

This is the only time Linked uses the internet with your data. When you save a link, the app sends that web address to a link preview service, which returns the page's title, site name and picture.

Only the address you are saving is sent. Your other links, collections, notes and settings are never sent anywhere. Links you have already saved open and display without any connection.

3. Permissions

Linked asks for very little. No permission is used to collect or transmit data.

4. Analytics and third parties

The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking tools.

When your phone is online, the app may load its fonts from Google Fonts. Opening a saved link hands it to your browser, and app links open Google Play. Those services have their own privacy policies.

5. Backups

Export JSON creates a backup file on your device, and you decide where it goes. It contains every link, note and collection you've saved, so share it only with people you trust.

6. Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can delete it at any time:

Both permanently erase everything the app has stored. Because there is no account or server, no copy is held anywhere else.

7. Security

Your information is protected by your phone's own security. You can also turn on a PIN lock in the Security tab.

8. Children's privacy

Linked does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. No data is collected from any user.

9. This website

This website doesn't use forms or accounts. It may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and clicks. That information is not linked to the app or to anything you enter in it. See the Microsoft privacy statement.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
